Dr. Snowy Tan

Dr. Snowy Tan is a licensed Naturopathic Physician (WA), fellow of the American Academy of Antiaging Medicine (A4M) and certified functional medicine practitioner (IFM).
She specializes in psychoneuroimmunology, an interdisciplinary approach that combines multiple fields including psychology, neuroscience, immunology and infectious diseases, endocrinology, environmental toxicology, and genetics, among others, in the treatment of chronic illnesses.
Dr. Snowy is the Founder and CEO of Sophus Online. Prior to founding Sophus, she was Founder and Medical Director of Shepherdess Naturopathic Clinic, where she specialized in the treatment of chronic complex illnesses with a strong immunology and toxicology underpinning, including cancer, autoimmune diseases, neurodegenerative disorders, and environmental diseases such as mold illness and breast implant illness. It was here that her patients showed her through their health struggles, the significant role that environmental toxins and psychological trauma play in creating the physiology that keeps people chronically sick.
Dr. Snowy received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore (WA). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University. She has undertaken extensive formal and informal postgraduate medical training in the United States, and speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
